Snohomish County Indivisible

Refuse Fascism Fridays

Snohomish County Indivisible is certain of our commitment to shining a light on the dangerous and destructive actions of the Trump Administration. Our democracy, values, and communities are under threat, and silence is not an option. To ensure ongoing visibility and public awareness, we will continue to hold Refuse Fascism Fridays, a sustained campaign of action that will continue until these urgent threats are addressed. We stand united in defense of justice, equality, and the fundamental principles that define us as a country. Join us as we refuse to sit back and demand accountability. We will have a limited number of signs, so if you are able, please bring your own!

All official locations meet at 5:00-6:30 pm.
Feel free to attend earlier or later to your comfort level.

Check with on location leader for additional opportunities.

Official locations have a designated Location Lead. This is a volunteer who:

  •  is familiar with Snohomish County Indivisible
  •  maintains regular contact with leadership
  •  is committed to showing up each week
  •  makes an effort to welcome new participants
  • carries supplies such as first aid items and extra signs
  • has de-escalation knowledge to help keep events peaceful

Official locations are posted to Mobilize and promoted more prominently on our website, mailing list, social media, at meetings, and at events.

Unofficial locations may also have a location lead, but they are not expected to follow guidelines established by SCI. They may operate at different times, change times without notice, or stop meeting altogether. We ask that you let us know if the location has stopped meeting.

We make an effort to stay in contact with organizers at these locations, and some of the people leading them are wonderful, dedicated activists who have shown up consistently without any issues. An unofficial designation is not intended to discourage attendance at these locations, but simply to clarify the expectations for those who choose to attend.

Consistency is the name of the game with RFF, and leads for official and unofficial locations need to be willing to commit to showing up.

To be added as a new official location, a person must be willing to take on the role of location lead, and the additional effort that comes with it, as well as make a minimum 6 month commitment. You will meet with the leadership team to discuss details and get launched.

New unofficial locations may be added after meeting as an independent group for at least 4 weeks. Contact us to let us know you have started, advertise the location in our private Facebook group, and then keep in touch.
